Silhouette Web includes tablet-optimised creative tools designed for touch and stylus workflows. Brushes support pressure-sensitive drawing on compatible tablets, enabling more natural sketching and illustration-style design creation. Layout Lens also allows camera-assisted positioning, helping users place designs accurately using a live background reference when working on supported tablet devices.

Silhouette Web allows projects and designs to be saved to your Silhouette account in the cloud. By signing in, you can access your files from different devices and continue working without transferring files manually. This makes it easy to move between computers or tablets while keeping your designs available wherever you work.

Send cut jobs directly from Silhouette Web on a PC. On tablets, you can transfer your design to Silhouette Go and send it to your machine with an easy on-screen prompt.

Silhouette Web includes Matrix Test Cut, a feature designed to simplify material testing. Multiple test cuts with different settings can be generated in a structured grid layout instead of adjusting each test individually. This reduces setup time, keeps test cuts neatly aligned, and helps users quickly determine the optimal cutting settings when working with new materials.

Silhouette Web offers optional upgrade editions that expand the available design and production tools. As you upgrade, additional creative and workflow features become available. No. Silhouette Web is browser-based and requires an internet connection to use.
If you are using Silhouette Web on a computer, you can send designs directly to your Silhouette machine. If you are using Silhouette Web on a tablet, in some cases (depending on the type of tablet) the design transfer to Silhouette Go first, then sent to the machine using an on-screen prompt.
Silhouette Web works with many Silhouette cutting machines, including all current models. Some earlier machines such as CAMEO 1, CAMEO 2, Portrait 1, and Curio 1 are not supported.
